The Hollowpoint peg is heat-treated forged chromoly with a domed outside edge to reduce the chance of rider injury with no sharp edge, as well as unnecessary peg damage.
If you've ever been unfortunate enough to land belly first (even butt first) on one of your pegs taking a slam, you'll know that it SUCKS, and no amount of skipping around in circles with your eyes squinted will take the pain away. The hollowpoint will soften that blow... Sorta.
